On March 29, 2019, the new theatre building of the Schwäbisch Hall open-air theatre opened its doors! The New Globe is a multi-storey, weather-proof open-air theatre with great versatility. The grandstands arranged in a semicircle are based on the iconic role model, the Shakespeare Theatre in London. Spectators sit on a total of 371 ergonomically designed tip-up seats from the ARC WOOD series. To optimize the view on the stage and the front stage arranged in the centre of the building, the seating in the side ranks was individually aligned with the stages. Dark stained moulded wood parts and a powder coating in a customised colour were selected with great care, so that the seating blends harmoniously into the architecture. We are proud to have contributed to the success of the venue that will enrich the cultural landscape in the region.
