Making its debut in August 2000, this concert hall has become the preferred venue in Brandenburg’s capital. The Great Hall with a capacity of 725 seats and the impressive multi-use foyer offer the perfect stage for many international concert and opera stars. A unique seat, developed for the concert and event hall in Potsdam in accordance with the wishes of the French architects and designers. For conference purposes, the side panels incorporate hidden swivelling desktops. The sound diffusers attached to the walls of the Great Hall are visually and acoustically remarkable. The sound pattern is thus on par with the acoustics of the leading concert halls in the world. A test report is available documenting the sound absorption of the seating.
