Incorporating almost 1,000 seats, the large “Großes Haus” of the State Theatre in Darmstadt was our very first theatre project. Maybe for this reason too, it remains an attractive and impressive reference for our work. This high-backed seat is utilized to compensate for extreme stair heights. In such instances, i.e. balconies, the elegant backrest also acts as a safety barrier. Useful features such as program holder and seat row numbers are also incorporated into the backrest. Row-end seats have an upholstered side panel and built-in aisle lighting.
